Adriatico. Mare d'inverno

Last winter I took a trip along the Adriatic coast, from Trieste to Otranto, creating many of the images in the book 'Adriatico. Mare d'inverno', conceived and edited by Cristiana Colli, published by artem.

Between December 2023 and March 2024, I traveled about 4000 km, taking about 1000 images, of which over 100 were included in the volume.

On this page I have collected a personal selection of photographs, some published in the book and others excluded for reasons of space.

During the trip, I photographed the points of interest suggested by the authors of the texts, while other shots came spontaneously, thanks to the inspiration that pushed me to stop along the way.

The graphic design and the were created by Ch ro mo.

"Adriatico. Mare d'inverno" is an extended and multidisciplinary narrative, a book and an invitation to travel, with the thoughts and views of 38 authors who have an irreducible relationship with water - philosophers, geographers, writers, theologians, critics, journalists, architects, scientists, artists, fishermen, biologists, archaeologists, scholars, wayfarers and navigators.
